My name is Nicolas Deru, founder of the La Voie du Plaisir center, I’m a tantric masseur for women and a tantra masseur for men in Liège, Belgium. I’m a tantra and tao initiator, coach, tantric referent, masseur and bodyworker. I offer individual and group personal development sessions using the many tools and experience tools and experience I’ve acquired along my life’s path.
I don’t consider myself a therapist. However, the spaces I offer can be liberating and will give you the keys to heal on your own or with the guidance of a therapist of your choice. Enabling healthier, more fulfilling intimate relationships in the future.
Guidance, massage, coaching, internships and training are partly inspired by the Tantric and Taoist traditions. But also bioenergy, intuitive and tantric massage, non-violent communication, and quite simply my experience of what connects us as human beings, and of the different types of intimate and couple relationships I’ve experienced.
My guidance is for all human beings seeking to know themselves better, to find more harmony in their intimate and relational life, to connect to their sensual potential, to open their heart, to bring more depth in the relationship to themselves and to others.
My tantric massages and holistic treatments are for anyone who is ready to question themselves, to turn towards their inner self, to be an active creator and to move towards the person they want to embody. I welcome people of all genders, ages, sexual orientations and body shapes.
As a tantra masseur, I offer a protected environment in which to grow, develop, free oneself and explore. Each at his or her own pace, gain confidence in your body, get to know yourself better, take care of your libido, channel your sexual energy, allow yourself to let go, unblock certain blockages linked to your intimate life (erections, orgasm problems, premature ejaculation, lack of desire…) free yourself from performance to be in the present moment, know how to express your needs and limits, open the way to caring communication and conscious touch. I propose a path of holistic transformation: body, emotions, energy, spirituality.
My experience as a tantric masseur doesn’t stop there. I also have a great deal of experience in polyamory and open relationships, as well as in exclusive relationships. I can also give you guidance and answer your questions about other relationship models. Together, we’ll look at the difficulties and fears you may encounter along the way.
In 2024, I created the Love Community with Steffi. A magnificent project that brings together years of experience to create a space for unity and transformation. A beautiful project for society.
My journey
I was born with an inner fire, deeply connected to my sexuality. It wasn’t always easy, as I wasn’t given any guidance in my upbringing, either by society or by my family. Tao and Tantrism have given me many answers and concrete tools to manage this inner fire. In particular, to use my sexual energy as a creative motor, to live a fulfilled and healthy life. But also to use my sexual energy as a path of spiritual exploration.
Life led me to become aware of my wounds, and I was able to shed light on some of the behaviours and reactions I was experiencing on a daily basis, and which I was subjecting those around me to. In particular, a great need for love, due to a deep wound that generated emotional dependence and numerous frustrations. Bringing these wounds to light has each time been a great passage, a great transformative initiation for my being. I continue to move forward, discovering myself with passion, feeling more complete and aligned with myself at every step along my life’s path.
From an early age, I’ve been interested in sensuality. My vocation as a tantra masseur for women or tantric masseur for men was born of my many explorations during my adolescence.
I received my first initiation to Tantrism in France in 2001, and Tao in India in 2004. During a trip to Asia, my path crossed with the teachings of Mantak Chia, the great Taoist master of sexuality. Later, I received spiritual and tantric teachings from Michaela Riedl, Sai Maa, Jacques Lucas (I’d like to stress that I don’t share some of Jacques’ ideas and positions, and that I’m in favor of a tantra that’s inclusive and open to all the diversity of creation). And the inspiration of many other “seekers of meaning”, notably Goenka, Margot Anand, Daniel Odier, Jacques Ferber, Barry Long… I’ve undergone a number of initiations that have marked my path and helped me to get to know myself better, notably with the MKP (Mankind Project), with the more shamanic ISTA (International School of Temple Arts, which I’d also like to stress that I don’t share all the dimensions they offer), at the Kumbh Mela in India, in Bioenergy with Stéphane Cardinaux.
My exploration of the universe, my spirituality, has always been connected to nature, to the power of our universe, to what connects me to earth, water, fire and air. Deep-rooted shamanic traditions have always been a doorway to a deep listening to my inner nature, and are an integral part of my work and daily life.
Over the years, I’ve explored my sexuality, both on my own and as a couple. I’ve lived through the ups and downs of a couple’s relationship, the birth of two children. Today, I’m happily guiding and challenging two teenagers in their daily lives, offering them a protected space where they can get to know themselves better and blossom in their lives.
The search for harmony, happiness and fulfillment led me to question my relationship with my partner. This set in motion a long journey of initiation, first with my ex-partner Véronique Plumier, with whom I lived an exclusive relationship for 15 years, before finally divorcing and living our relationship through a new friendship and co-parenting. After that, I opened up a new field of exploration through open relationships with different partners. I discovered the great relational richness of sexpositive spaces. I dared to open up to women as much as to men, to become aware of my resistance, and to open up to love, and to see beauty, whatever the person in front of me. Today, I define myself as pansexual. I’ve had the opportunity to walk a beautiful path that I continue to explore with passion through polyamorous and committed relationships. As well as my passion for sexuality and numerous personal development courses. For more than a decade, as a tantra masseur, I’ve felt the call to pass on this experience of life and love to others. guiding people and couples on an inner journey, to discover themselves, their erotic nature and their orgasmic potential.
