Following a very touching sharing on one of our groups about non-exclusive relationships, I felt like sharing this reflection with you:
💫 Presence, the essential basis for non-exclusive relationships
In non-exclusive relationships, the quality of presence and attention to self and other is an essential foundation. It’s what makes it possible to create lasting, nourishing bonds, where each person can flourish in his or her freedom and authenticity.
💪 Commitment in storms
For me, commitment is also – and above all – revealed in difficult times. Being there when it’s easy is easy. But being there when it’s vulnerable, uncomfortable, challenging… that’s when the power of the bond is revealed.
When storms are shared, welcomed, co-regulated… it brings depth to what connects us. It creates a kind of solidarity, a quiet confidence, a feeling of being together, even in chaos.
This is where commitment takes on its full meaning: in being present to what is, in choosing to stay connected, even when things aren’t so simple.
